The sun keeps shining so lets keep photting! A bank holiday today so minimal freight about but a scan of the gen lists showed that the Lindsey tanks were running today but this time minus the tug providing the power. As I had photographed the same working just Friday at Moreton cutting I though a change of location should be in order for today’s train so opted for Purley-on-Thames.

Although I have visited a photographed at Purley a couple of times before I don’t actually think they appear on the website so yet another brand new location for you. I had arrived early as I know this train likes to depart early on occasions and today was no exception as 66133 powered the empty 6E55 Theale – Lindsey tanks through Purley bang on its departure time from Theale at 13:35 a good 20 minutes early.
