I didn’t have anything planned for this weekend but while browsing the net for workings this weekend I noticed the Stobart Pullman was due to work London Paddington – Paignton on the Saturday running via the GWML on the outwards trip. I hadn’t seen the Stobart Pullman before so thought it would be a good opportunity to see the set for myself.
The forecast was for sunshine and showers and it was spot on as I went through both enroute to the shot I had in mind at Ruffinswick. The GWML isn’t the best line to go photting on early in the morning due to shooting directly into the sun on down workings and the sun was out as out as 47832 honed into view working 1Z72 London Paddington – Paignton. I think it looks quite smart in it’s new Stobart colours and prefer it to when I saw it last at Bedwyn on the 3rd June 2006.
