As I said yesterday maybe I would be 3rd time lucky with the DRS 66’s and it was not to be. Due to paperwork or maybe down to WCML derailment the move was again cancelled. Well thats enough for me this week, after over 550 miles for nothing I’m not wasting the final day of my holiday trying to see them. Touch wood they will be around for the next 30 years or so. I’m off for some WCML action tommorow, hopefully the derailment won’t cause too much be cancelled.

Just the one shot for your perusal today, 67027 on 1M06 Swansea – Willesden flys through Pilning at Warp factor 5!
Another day, another attempt at seeing the DRS 66’s and another failure! As they say 3rd time lucky so we will see what Thursday brings us.

I have a couple of shots for your amusement tonight. Today I thought I would try my luck at Pilning for the DRS 66’s, first up we have 66206 thrashing it’s empty HTA’s out of the Severn tunnel.

We now have another shot of the same view with 66120 dragging a set of HEA’s up the bank, I could show you more shots but the are all sheds and there all coal trains so just the two shots for today. Lets see if we can repeat the shot with Blue 66’s tommorow, Fingers crossed!
